Our mission and story
The Providenţa Fürsorge Association is a day care center for adults with disabilities, operating since 1994 as a unique, accredited Hungarian institution providing social services in Cluj-Napoca.

: Adults with special needs and their relatives who are part of our day care program.
Our Story:
Established in 1994, the institution was founded through professional cooperation between special education teachers, psychologists, and social workers from Hungary and abroad (Lebenshilfe Austria, Sonderschule für geistig behinderte Kinder, Innsbruck). It was also initiated by parents of young people with intellectual disabilities attending the meetings of the Association of Faith and Light.
The institution was founded by the Essig family.

Beneficiaries:
Our day care facility serves 12 adults, aged 21 to 57 years, with severe and moderate disabilities. Most have multiple impairments, including visual impairments, epilepsy, schizophrenia, and other psychological conditions. Many come from single-parent families, have retired parents with low incomes, or live in residential homes.
